Seeing the Bright Side of Romance & Fantasy

Put down everything that comes into your head and then you’re a writer. But an author is one who can judge his own stuff’s worth, without pity, and destroy most of it.

Next Up: Saint and the Sinner

Yeah, you read that excerpt right. Next book in the Wilde Love series is going to be Owen and Mickey’s story, Saint and the Sinner. It’s with my editor right now, and scheduled for release on November 27th.

Also coming before the end of the year will be A Very Wilde Christmas. Lots of Christmas fluff about your favorite Wilde Love characters.

While I have more books planned for Wilde Love, it’s unlikely that book five is going to follow as quickly as the first few have come. There are variousĀ  reasons for this, but the one I’ve decided to share is this: what’s coming next.

I read and love all kinds of romance, but I have a particularly soft spot in my heart for paranormal romance. Since before I decided to start with Wilde Love, I’ve had this idea for a series. It’s a little long, counting in at a planned nine books, so I decided to start with something a shorter, or at least more open-ended.

I’ll be posting a little about it here and there for the next few months. I’m shooting for a January release on book one, so it’s coming up fast!

The Week Where Everything Happens

This week, everything’s coming in for Sins of the Father!

The lovely and incredibly talented Natasha Snow and I have been talking about the cover, which is going to be gorgeous. Mailing list members will get the first peek at the finished cover when I get my hot little hands on it, and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Just as importantly, my fabulous editor from Clause & Effect has returned the manuscript with edits to be done! Now I may be one of a very few authors who love doing edits, but I really, really do. I’ve found the right editor, who never makes me feel bad about my work, and who is also totally willing to tell me when something has to be changed.

I feel so lucky, to be working with two of the most talented people I know, who are helping me give Keegan the best book I possibly can.
